  1. My God, this is not a normal person! It looks like six of the messages yesterday were sent within the space of 10 minutes!

  2. How many officially count as harassment? Or, in this case, derangement?

  3. I am happy and relieved Ms. Zumaya has the forethought to ignore the comments of Martin. She was nothing more than a trouble maker on a few Valentino forums, picking fights with members and generally stirring the pot in a futile effort to highlight her ostensible knowledge. Let's talk Valentino and leave these abhorrent characters to stew in their own juices elsewhere.

  4. I have had my own online brushes with Ms. Cindy Martin and they have not been good. I can tell you from personal experience that this individual has some very serious issues. In fact, I call her a predator (see the above screenshot of her in action stalking Evelyn). Martin is everything that she accuses Mrs. Zumaya of and more.

  5. Is it just me or is it when Evelyn talks about Renato's work , CM seems to go ballistic.

    1. Yes, 6:18 PM...agree regarding Renato and his fine work. The vibe I get from the person calling themselves "Cindy Martin" is one of extreme jealousy regarding Evelyn's loving relationship with Renato. "Martin" seems to be obsessed with Renato and it makes her beyond green with envy that Evelyn has such a fine man as a partner both personally and professionally. "Martin" seem to be rotting away alone and adrift as a pathetic figure who has alienated pretty well everyone she has come in contact with.

    2. 6:58: As much as she and hers claim I am focusing on her, imagine the feedback she would get if I posted all the comments she sends in. I think it is logical to expect a fierce resistance to her actions here because anyone who once openly bragged she was "influential" in having my books removed from sale is not a friend at all. That is sick behavior. I can say honestly I have never told anyone not to read a book and in the case of Bret's horrible book, I say read it and then we can discuss. I am not sure what her motive is but it is not going to fly here on my personal blog obviously. I have zero interest in her or her mad theories and have never once looked at her online spew. I have loved ones who protect me from things like that.

    3. I add that I am always up for a good debate and discussion, but the comments sent in by the trolls are personal insults, vile descriptions of Renato and I, obscene death wishes, and have no content at all other than mean provocation. No discussion to be had there. So no they are not a part of this dialogue at all.

    4. As someone pointed out in a blog.

I am relatively new to this vibrant blog. But I do have a long memory of the unseemly antics of “CM” on the forum, We Never Forget. To a degree not often seen she combined numerous awful characteristics - an ignorant blowhard with a superiority complex who never shut up, nasty as the day is long, thin skinned, mortally threatened by other women, and in thrall to men she plainly believed she had enchanted, but who in actuality, despised her. There is not a soul left standing on her side, with the exception of an adult child to whom she is apparently joined at the hip. She views Zumaya’s full, joyous life through a window, reminded each time she looks that she is one of life’s have-nots.

    1. 7:53: Interesting. I think her "not-having" relates to her expectations that people will embrace her after she lashes out making a great deal of trouble of people such as Renato and I and Norma's children who know exactly who she is. I guess I am the believer in karma and I think action like hers will have a pretty instant dividend paid in misery. Nothing good really comes of trying to ruin peoples dreams and burn their books.

    2. Norma's children know exactly what I wrote, were there eagerly reading everyday. I never called their mother a "whore" as comments coming in from those yacking trolls are claiming and I wrote the book with all due respect and honestly. It is a remarkable story and an honest one and how very hypocritical they stand in judgment on their rickety old high horses while being the most immoral people I have ever had contact with in my entire life. Just another stupid and completely unbelievable ploy to be "influential" in ruining more books obviously.

I am sorry you are the target of the wrath of this profoundly disturbed woman. However, I am heartened that you have taken steps to make her silent and invisible to you, which is what everyone else who has ever crossed paths with her decides to do in short order.

    4. 8:21: And we are taking more steps in that direction. Soon come.

    5. Adding for the shut down of their Norma bashing; in Affairs Valentino I referred to flirting and lest we remember that then, in 1923... being 15 was old enough to marry. So enough of that hooey and baseless bullying of two wonderful and quite elderly people's hopes their Mom's story will be appreciated.

    6. Ms. Zumaya's sharing of Norma Niblock's story is amazing, considering the plethora of posts on the Valentino forums over the years from Valentino fans, eagerly curious about the Mineralava Beauty and desiring to find out more. No one EVER attempted to find out about Norma until Ms. Zumaya discovered her children were still with us. All Valentino fans owe her a debt of gratitude.

    7. 12:02: Norma's children loved their mother unconditionally and felt no reason to alter her life story. Their honestly was refreshing and I was honored to tell the true story.

  7. A most interesting story "Norma" has been.
