  1. Well researched! Best biography of Valentino out there!

  2. This is a well written and well researched book. Evelyn Zumaya has done an excellent job in delving into Valentino's life and career.

    1. Thank-you 3:32 and 5:36: It might be almost time for a new edition to include all the new material. We shall see. And to those VSC trolls who have sent in their "provocations" on this post, I say isn't it amazing that a book published in 2011 still gets you all so fired up? I did something right.

    2. And Evelyn did do something right, look forward to the new edition. As Evelyn said "This book survives and will continue to survive for years to come". So VSC don't you think it is time to raise the white flag of surrender and accept this book for what it is.

    3. 6:16: They are still howling over that introduction I wrote in the First Edition 11 years ago. When every word of it was true and every prediction I made came true.

    4. Yes, it was true, perhaps they should have thought things through and keep silent, now they have been exposed for what they are.

    5. Not so much has changed in those 11 years except I think they have been exposed and Bret has to skulk about using aliases. I think if people could see some of the content of what he was publishing about me back then, they would be horrified. One thing that has changed is the public's awareness of cyber bullying.

    6. Indeed, i saw parts of what Bret wrote to you. So sorry you had to go through that.

  3. The classic "Forewarning" was the entranceway into a new kind of crazy.

    1. 7:35: With all due respect I disagree. The "crazy" was already happening as far back as 2003 when Terhune found out I discovered the Ullman archive. It has never stopped. The "Forewarning" was a straight forward report of what Terhune and Bret did to me and especially in 2010 and 2011. There was nothing new in that introduction and it had to be, because anyone looking at my google search found their mountains and mountains of BS lies about me and the book. I called them out. Anyone would do the same. Of course they were outraged they had failed to terrify me into silence and have been squealing about my truthiness every since.

    2. That "Forewarning" said the exact same things being talked about here.

  4. To Evelyn, thinking of writing a new edition of Affairs Valentino, I can picture the VSC running to the medicine cabinet for tranquilizers to calm down.

  5. Before printing a new edition, might be good to get rid of the mountain of leftover copies of the first 2.

    1. 1:58: There are no "leftover" copies of Affairs Valentino. Unlike your book, I did not have to pre-order and pay for them all up front. I think you just sealed my goal to do a revised edition. Thanks!

  7. It's a shame that Evelyn and Renato have to spend their waning years this way.

    1. Their books and podcasts are doing well as Evelyn has said. Thanks for the laugh though we needed it.

  9. Well, 'My Goodness' @ 5:55 AM ...... Wonder who you are?
Maybe the flabby, mascaraed Crypt Keeper?
    The Hobgoblin Porn Prince?
The Cuz who is constantly stopping and starting a future blockbuster biography?
Such astute (and jealous) critics of REAL Valentino studies!
