Once again it is the old “fiction, hearsay, innuendo, and guesswork” trope. Interesting how those most vocally accusing others of fabrication are often the ones feverishly deleting posts, gatekeeping discussion, and dictating how “Rudy” must be remembered. This is not scholarship—it’s cultic control.
If this so-called “Valentino Community” was genuinely scholarly, they wouldn’t fear open discourse or opposing viewpoints. They wouldn’t require members to remove posts because “it’s not the Rudy we want.” That’s not history—that’s propaganda.
We are not “ignored”—we are censored. And censorship, by nature, signals fear. Fear of facts. Fear of documents. Fear of legacy. Fear that someone, somewhere, might see Valentino as a real man with a complex life, not a manicured altar boy.
We’ve never claimed ownership of “Rudy.” But we won’t be erased by those who do.
I will soon be posting all of the sworn testimony by George Ullman, Alberto Valentino, Maria Strada, Lou Mahoney and more on @ https://rudolphvalentinodocuments.blogspot.com/
So stay tuned!
